About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To act justly, to love mercy, and walk humbly with my God.

ABOUT ME

My favorite thing to do is meet people from different cultures because I love languages, traveling, and also people! I study linguistics and ESL (teaching English as a second language). When I graduate from university I plan to spend some time abroad traveling and teaching. My first stop is the Middle East because Arabic is one of the languages I am most interested in!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that loving people is the most important thing to do in life. I believe in the Bible and what it says about Jesus and that he died for my sins and he is the Saviour of the world. I believe that the things in this world are temporary and so accumulating stuff and money is completely meaningless. I want to live my life for other people and hope to open/work in an orphanage in the future. Above all, Jesus is most important in my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I have ever done was playing soccer all day with a group of refugee children that I met in Germany. They were from Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Our time was so joyful and precious and I never wanted it to end.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have had a lot of experience teaching. I taught English in China for three months, worked at an inner-city school this summer, and am currently teaching English in Germany while I study. If anyone has any interest in that, I would love to share my experiences! :)

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Guatemala, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Palestine, Spain, United Kingdom, Vatican City State
