Hey Y'all! Im Abbi, small town Kansas girl with a passion for traveling, an eye for photography, a love of nature, and a sense of adventure! I was born in Germany, raised all over the United States, spent 2 years at a small university in Virginia where I met my now fiancé, and then became an Au Pair first in France and now in Germany. I have a goal of seeing as much of the world as possible, experiencing cultures as authentically as possible, and filling up my scrapbook with pictures from every corner of the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As an Au pair I have experienced first-hand the benefits of exploring a new place while living with locals. Although my au pairing journey is coming to an end soon, I am hoping to continue to explore by sharing my experiences with people who deeply understand the place I am visiting, which is where couch surfing comes into play!

As a country girl through and through I love me some country music! I also enjoy listening to popular artists such as Alex Warren, Benson Boone, and Noah Kahan. Im a former dancer so I love any music that makes me want to get up and dance!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Becoming an Au Pair is one of the most amazing things i've ever done, Ive stretched my comfort zone, become more confident in myself, and even started learning 2 new languages!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a very creative mind and am always willing to help out with any DIY projects! I also enjoy cooking, dancing, and sharing my passions with others. I have experience teaching English, swimming, and dance and am happy to do any of those for my hosts :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a calm but active personality ready to experience new things and to share my experience with others. I am kind, encouraging, creative, and easily adaptable to new places! I would be happy to help out with DIY projects, cooking, planning (especially travel planning!), learning English, minor housekeeping, or taking care of kids.
