I was born and raised in Maine, and live by a river with my mother and younger brother. I am currently working on a nursing degree with two more years left. I am going to go for a midwife accreditation after I graduate. I work in my local emergency room as a clerk, which is a blast as well as a great learning experience. I am a volunteer firefighter in my town.

I’m on Couchsurfing because I am currently planning a trip to Iceland with some friends, and am looking for a place to stay. Also, in the future when I have a place of my own, I would love to host couchsurfers in Maine. I love meeting new people and sharing how awesome my home state is. I love to travel whenever I can, and learn about new places.

I love anything crafty, such as knitting, crocheting, sewing, and spinning. I used to raise goats for their fiber and hope to someday have a small farm. I also like to garden, cook, swim, hike, and paddle board. Being close to nature is very important to me, and I try to be outside as much as possible. My favorite place on Earth is Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island in Maine.
I am also a voracious museum goer.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I listen to just about anything, but my favorite genres are early rock and roll (Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Big Mama Thornton), classic rock (Steppenwolf, The Edgar Winter Group, Pink Floyd) and hard rock (Marilyn Manson, Drowning Pool, Apocalyptica). I can’t sing or play an instrument worth a damn, but I can appreciate those talented people who do.
I am a huge movie buff, the cult tab on Netflix being my favorite. Anything John Waters or Tarantino. I am also a huge sci fi geek. I have a big interest in agricultural documentaries, I used to go to school to study sustainable farming and land management.
My favorite book is the Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy Series and anything Jane Austen.
