I'm a student at the University of St Andrews where I study International Relations and Geography. I love to hike and run and spend as much time outdoors as possible. Compared to some people, I haven't traveled very much but that is very much something I would like to change -- I love to explore new places and meet new people!

I'd love to meet new people and get a local's perspective on the place I am visiting. Also, I prefer budget travelling and saving money wherever and whenever I can (so that I have more money to travel to as many new places as possible!) Also, I think its a really cool idea and would love to potentially make friends all over the world through couch surfing!

I'm a fan of some good, chill, acoustic indie music but I enjoy music from 70s and 80s rock to early 2000s pop and just about everything in between. As for books, I love to read just about anything! In particular, I'm a huge fan of some fantasy, adventure-packed, heroine-saves-the-world books (if you have any recommendations, let me know!)

Before coming to university, I went skydiving in Newport, RI, USA. I've been afraid of heights since I was little so this was absolutely terrifying at first but turned out to be the best thing I've ever done. Also, I figure if I can conquer my fear of heights and jump out of a plane, I can do pretty much anything.
