Airbnbs and hostels have their benefits, but Couchsurfing offers a lot more than just accomodation. It's a great opportunity to meet locals and learn about their way of life, and become a member of a unique global community.
And of course, it's a good option for those of us who are working on a... less than ideal budget. :)

Love finding new artists to listen to! my current favorites are: Ziggy Alberts, Borns, Lake Street Dive, Radical Face, the Essentialists, Leon Bridges, Dr. Dog, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, the Wood Brothers, Avett Brothers, and the Revivalists.
Not a big movie person but Breaking Bad is one of my favorite TV shows.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Tough question... eight year old me decided that she wanted to sing the national anthem on the school's loudspeakers system, and convinced her parents/the school administration to make it happen. No clue why I wanted to do this (zero musical talent, my parents were actively discouraging it) and definitely wouldn't classify it as amazing, but I respect the confidence and zero f*cks given attitude that my younger self had.

My friends can confirm that I make some excellent baked goods - brownies and blondies specifically. If desserts aren't your thing, we'll find something else I can contribute! I could also help with a Spanish or English language exchange :)
