I'm a Spanish teacher in Oklahoma, graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2018. Just like about everyone on here, I love travel and hearing stories, getting to know people and cultures globally.

I'm looking for places to stay while I'm abroad so I can make connections and get a more authentic feel for the culture, rather than staying in hostels and getting a tourist feel for the country.

I'm interested in travel and languages, but when I'm home I like to watch tv and just relax and knit. I like to hammock when the weather is nice, which is rare in Oklahoma. I like cooking as well as baking, and would love to share some American recipes, even cook if I stay with you. I love coffee and espresso in all forms. I enjoy all animals, but I especially love cats. I recently got into rock climbing and camping. I really like hiking, even though I have a terrible track record of getting lost. Although I don't have any equipment and hardly ever do it, I love kayaking and being on the water.

The Princess Bride is my favorite movie. I also really like Fight Club, the Sharknado movies, and anything by Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson, or Guillermo del Toro.

Hitchhikers Guide to the Universe is my favorite book. I also really like Cloud Atlas and the Harry Potter series.

I can't decide on a favorite band, maybe Coldplay? I tend to like indie music of all sorts, but I can listen to everything but country.

I can teach and share American culture, as well as cook American food! I make really good baked goods or any American breakfast food, for example biscuits and gravy.
I love languages! I can share English, and I'm learning Spanish and French (proficient in Spanish but beginner level in French). I would be interested in learning anything new from any language!
