About Me

I’m from Texas but up in Washington for a few months to work with recycling at fire camps during fire season. In between fires. I’m just chillin, trying to find cool nature spots and warmish places that actually feel like summer!

Gets kinda boring traveling alone so much, so down to hike, grab a drink, or something! Trying to see some great places while I’m up here!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel by myself a lot so it's a great way to meet and hangout with locals along the way! I enjoy hosting when I can and have fun showing people around my city and all the lesser know places to check out.

I like having new experiences and started this as a way to push myself out of my comfort zone. What better way to experience a place than through the people who live there!

I work in events and know how hard and expensive it can be to find housing sometimes, so I always try and host around large events in Austin.

Music, Movies, and Books

On the 8th book of a national park murder mystery series. Go check out Nevada Bart’s books if you like national parks!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I worked on a trail crew and did 7 backpacking work trips (hitches) that were 10 days long each in the southern Oregon and Northern California wilderness areas. I had never backpacked before or done trail work, it was tough and I’m surprised and proud of everything I did. Some of the coolest and most remote places I’ve ever seen!

Teach, Learn, Share

I always try to take my guests out for queso and margaritas (margs as I call them) one night! You can’t leave Texas without it!

Hangout, have a few drinks, talk, show you around the city and all the great nature spots.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can try to make some queso as good as they make it in Texas!
