Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I occasionally meet up with Couchsurfers who are in my town, and have stayed with really great hosts once. Up to this point, I've been more observational.. but living in America again, I am itching to be more involved in the CS community to find more like minded nomads.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only had positive experiences thus far. In certain cities I didn't feel comfortable staying with a host because the responses I got felt more like they came from OKCupid than CS, and I'm really not looking to get roofied or roughed up by my host. But for the most part, I've felt like it's a ridiculously untapped, amazing resource out there.

The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moving from Atlanta (my hometown) to Berlin. That moment after we boarded the plane, took off, and everything I'd ever known became little dots far below on the ground...that left me breathless. I love that feeling.
My first kiss. That left me awestruck. That moment can never be replaced or recreated, experiencing the phenomena of kissing for the very first time. I think it was probably like the first astronaut floating around space for the first time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can copyedit the socks off of your documents and teach you how to hula hoop. I also know a quick trick for folding t-shirts. You'll never fold em' the same when I'm done with you.
