I am 3/4 Filipino and 1/4 Chinese. I am a registered nurse by profession in the Philippines but I work as an assistant nurse in Forssa, Finland. I have been living in Finland for 2 years already and I just got married to one of the nicest, kindest and smartest man in Finland. I am an outdoor girl. I love to explore, check places and meet people. I am a nature lover but once in a while, I also visit some cities. A lot of people describes me as 'Joy' from that Disney Pixar Movie, Inside Out. ;P Try to check that movie! I love it!

I am an amateur and self-taught photographer. For me, pictures are always my return ticket to home. I love to share my experiences to others for motivational and mental boost and pictures for visual nourishment.

In my two years of living in Finland, I already visited nearly 30 cities and towns, which includes Ivalo, Rovaniemi, Oulu, Turku, Kotka, Tampere, etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love to travel and meet people, I can't be thankful enough for my friends who introduced Couchsurfing to me. Traveling is my way of life since when I was in the Philippines. I did not expect that what I have done before like sleeping at someone else's place is considered already as a couchsurfing.

I always give time and invest in traveling because for me, this is the best, challenging and fastest way to grow and learn more about myself, people and places. I always find it interesting and motivating to hear different stories of people about life and how their lives also changed by meeting other people too.

I am hoping and believing for an awesome experience as a first-timer here! I can't wait to experience and share the stories of your kindness and hospitality to everyone! :)

Music: Calm and relaxing music like meditation and jazz instrumental.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I studied finnish language in the Philippines to work as an assistant nurse here in Finland. This is such a challenging and amazing experience for me...to learn a language that I have never ever heard before and to live alone in a country far away from my own homeland. I love my experiences here, the finnish people, their cultures and traditions.

I can teach you basic photography and editing without worrying about buying expensive gears...just phone!
I can teach you how to meditate and do yoga. Believe me, yoga works for everyone! I'll show you proofs when we meet! :)
I can share to you my favorite exercise that you will surely like without the need to go outside or to gym!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live in a two-room apartment in Forssa, Finland with my friendly husband, two hours from Helsinki Kamppi Terminal by bus. We have a convertible couch and you are welcome to sleepover here. :)
