I'm rambling all around the US exploring until about May. I lived in China from 2008 to 2013 before moving back to my hometown of Baltimore. For the next 2 years I taught Mandarin to pre-schoolers, and when it felt like time for some new experiences I moved on to wwoofing and road tripping and haven't looked back since :)
Love funny people, drawing, languages, food, dancing, singing, and my pug. I laugh at mostly everything, but that's not to say that you're not a genuinely funny person. Time in nature is vital, and I love having time outdoors alone, but new hiking and camping buddies are always fun too!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of the best parts of travel is connecting with people! I'm constantly wowed by the generosity of the people I've met through CS. I'm also shocked when I meet people who haven't used it yet and tell everyone to get on here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One year I did a road trip of New Zealand's South Island with my younger sister, and it is one of the best things I've ever done in my life.

Good conversation, a passion for life, and I'll let you laugh at my phone. I refuse to own a smart phone, and welcome the mockery. I also keep a blog on race and privilege and really enjoy talking openly with people about that kinda shtuff:
