I'm rambling all around the US in a summer of freedom after leaving my job. I lived in China from 2008 to 2013 before moving back to my hometown of Baltimore. For the past 2 years I taught Mandarin to pre-schoolers, and loved every moment, but it was time to move on, and see some new places.
Love funny people, drawing, languages, food, dancing, concerts, and my pug. I laugh at mostly everything, but that's not to say that you're not a genuinely funny person. Time in nature is vital, and I love having time outdoors alone, but new hiking and camping buddies are always fun too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of the best parts of travel is connecting with people.
drawing, writing, dancing, hiking, biking, meditating, laughing
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One year I did a road trip of New Zealand's South Island with my younger sister, and it is one of the best things I've ever done in my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm working on being present. I tend to let my thoughts wander into the future, and always really appreciate meeting people who help me feel centered.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation, a passion for life, and I'll let you laugh at my phone. I refuse to own a smart phone, and welcome the mockery.
