ABOUT ME
Hi everyone,
Our names are Abby and Matt. We are pretty new to this website but we are really excited to start using it and make some life long friends!!
We love to meet new people and in the past four years we have lived in three different states of Australia and both the Northern and Southern hemisphere. We are both studying film. We both enjoy making documentaries.
I'll let you know a little more about ourselves.
Abby - I have an obsession with Vietnamese Pho, I love the outdoors, John Butler Trio are my favourite band, I've been to over 30 countries, We run a wedding videography business (If you're getting married overseas, We'd love to come film it!!) :)

Matt - I enjoy dancing crazy to any beat, I am very interested in history, I enjoy meeting people from all different backgrounds, I live in a valley that's close enough to the beach, I surf most weekends and enjoy taking our dog on hikes, I used to work as a cook in a Cafe (I'd be happy to make you a delicious meal as a thanks for having us!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have only just started couch surfing 'Officially'. I suppose we have always wanted to keep our doors open to new people and see what we can learn off them. In the past we have had international students come and stay with us. At one point, our home was filled with 9 Japanese students for a week! Was a lot of fun!
We are about to do a trip around South East Asia. We want to create a short documentary about our couch surfing experiences; The people we meet, the kindness of strangers, what the locals have to show us of their beautiful country. We want to see a different way of living than how we do. Even if you wash your clothes differently - We are interested!!
Apart from the film side of things, We are super friendly and want to make some friends that we can one day host here in Australia!

Slept in the Sahara desert, Karaoke in South Korea, High school in England, Scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef, Bungee jumping in Thailand, Sky diving in the Hunter Valley, Sailing the islands of Croatia, Partying in the Greek Islands, Filming in Cambodia, Attending a traditional wedding in Morocco and Malaysia, Living on a tropical island for a year.
