I'm a cool fun loving girl from Chicago who loves to travel and immerse oneself in other cultures.
Since 2014 I've been both surfer and host. Now I just want to keep that going.

I moved to the California Bay area almost a year ago and it has definitely been treating me well.

My next two major trips are Afro Punk late August and Thailand in October!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

To make friends from all over the world!

In 2014, I did Semester at Sea and got the chance to travel to over 15 countries. During that time I discovered CS and learned about the amazing community surrounding travelers. As soon as I got to Chicago, I started accepting as many surfers as I could.

I've had guests from all over (Germany, Turkey, Denmark, New Zealand, Tunisa, etc.) and the experience has been amazing! I've dyed a guest's hair, shared home cooked meals, took them to a tattoo parlor (Cheryl was getting the tattoo), had a dance party, and all types of other things. I can really get people out of their shell because I believe in being your authentic self!

I want my guests to feel right at home so I love taking them around the city, introducing them to my friends, having great conversation, and really giving them an immersive experience. I try to look for hosts who do the same thing with their guests but if they don't #itallGOOD.
