Hi, ya'll! I'm Alison, a 24 year old Phoenician with a passion for learning about the world. My favorite places to explore are embedded in nature, I love the outdoors and animals. I work at the Phoenix Zoo and have traveled to places like Panama, Switzerland, and Alaska to experience their unique environments. I also travel to learn more about other cultures. I have ventured to places such as Israel and Paris to connect with the locals. I would describe my personality as logical on the outside, with a soft go-with-the-flow center. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The obvious reason: traveling is expensive, you have to cut corners where you can! Besides that, couchsurfing is an excellent way to get right into the knitty gritty of an area by making connections with locals and getting their advice on the best sights to see, places to explore, food to enjoy, and experiences to witness.

Interests

It won't take you long to find out I like to taste my way through the world, particularly with craft beer. My first stop in most new places is the local brew pub. I also enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, boating, horseback riding, and the occasional paraglide. I have been practicing yoga for 6 years now. I recently started cross stitching.
