About me? I ask myself the same question very often. Who am I? "Su due piedi" as a friend of mind would say to explain something off the bat, I'm an all-time thinker, admirer. I try to find fascination and peculiarity in every simple thing: a leaf falling, a street sweeper cutely spraying water on sidewalks before sunset, sunlight pouring in a street at early moments of the day, a rider tirelessly gazing at the red light, a random customer ordering a cappuccino without a foam, two ticket inspectors chichatching about last game Roma lost, etc.
I love spices. I love how they say something about themselves while we grind them and how they create magic when we allow them to, in the exact teaspoon measures.
Then yeah, officially I was born in Morocco, but I have been living in Italy for many years. Can't tell more on identity, as it's still matter of continuous and endless discussion.
As you might have guessed, traveling is the ultimate tool to keep feeling joy from reading through simplicity and beauty of acts, carried out by everything breathing or apparently not.
Discovering has always been one of things I have always loved to do: skies, seas, lands and people mainly. Languages is the most beautiful, amazing and fascinating tool we humans are able to use to give voice to our thoughts and express our emotions.

Music rearly goes off my hearing radar. I enjoy breaking down music pieces to hear every layer of it. I never studied music, but I'd love to learn to play as many instruments as I can. Up to now, I play two instruments, but aiming to include in my team a good heartfeeling trumpet and saxophone. They blow away beautifully every word we are not able to say.

I love watching sunsets, sunrises, early morning walks, sleeping under the stars, getting kissed by a sun coming out after some gloomy February days.

And beside all of this boring me, wanna know about me? I'm sometimes out of control if i sleep only 3 hours. I get high from this, and not the best weed you might come up with. I love dancing when I feel it, sometimes annoyingly competitive when I play. So yeah. Infact it's confusing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Discovering and love for adventure, meeting new people, making new friends, getting the energy that comes out of people's smiles and getting back home feeling that I got somehow richer.

Interests

I'm what I like calling myself "pathologically passionate" about blues music. I like most of all genres, black music mainly (I almost teared up watching "amazing grace" film documentary about live church recorded album by Aretha Franklin) but blues riffs always sends me on trips. I'm addicted to swing dance, Lindy hop especially, but I hardly contain myself when my body feels any other kind of beat.
I started practicing Arabic Calligraphy and poetry.
Love travelling, cultures, languages, music, cinema, art,poetry and above all, I always melt in front of cats. In cats I see what human being would be if they didn't care at all of what the world expect from them, a free soul from judgement.

I love reading thrillers and novels in general.
Drama and based on true story movies are my favorite, but I can lay down and watch an easy one on my brain too.
Jamming in company of voices and instruments in parks or with beach sand between my toes!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing thing I've seen? Cars stopping so respectfully and considerately 10 meters away from zebra crossing in Cracovia. I live in Rome!
