About Me
Hi! My name is Abdeljalil, but my friends call me Friha. I’m from Rabat, Morocco, and I’m passionate about traveling, meeting new people, and learning about different cultures. I’m a friendly and respectful person who loves good conversations, outdoor adventures, and sharing Moroccan hospitality.
I work as a freelancer and enjoy spending my free time hiking, swimming, kayaking, and exploring new places. I’m also into music, tennis, and trying food from all over the world. I believe in kindness, open-mindedness, and positive vibes.
If you’re visiting Morocco, I’d love to help you experience the real local culture!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I love meeting new people from around the world and exchanging cultures, ideas, and stories. For me, it’s not just about finding a place to stay — it’s about creating connections, sharing experiences, and offering genuine Moroccan hospitality.
I believe that the best way to explore a place is through the eyes of locals, and I’m happy to show travelers the real Morocco. Whether it’s a cup of mint tea, a walk through the medina, or a good conversation under the stars, I’m always open to new friendships and memories.
Interests
I’m passionate about travel, nature, and meeting people from different backgrounds. I love outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, kayaking, and exploring hidden places. I also enjoy learning languages and talking about cultures, history, and food.
In my free time, you’ll find me listening to music, watching inspiring movies, reading books about self-growth or adventure, or playing sports like tennis and football. I’m also very interested in photography, storytelling, and making meaningful connections wherever I go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I’ve done was hiking through the Atlas Mountains and spending a night with a local Berber family under the stars. No Wi-Fi, just stories, laughter, and real human connection. It reminded me how simple moments can be the most unforgettable.
