I am Abdulrahman, and usually people in English call me Abdul! I’m from lovely Jeddah on the Red Sea, and I love meeting new people and traveling to know more about other culture, and discover other places. I didn’t start traveling early which makes me nervous as it will be harder for me to travel the world beside my career, but for sure I’ll try my best to travel as much as possible in the next years!

I’ve been visually impaired since born and I became completely blind in 2012, and I’ve completed my education and traveled on my own!

I play Piano a little bit, and an eastern instrument called Oud, and I love listening to different kinds of music from all over the world!

Because I love traveling, and meet new people. I believe that when I meet new people and each time I meet someone I learn new things, in each meeting with new people we learn new things from each other!

I like different kinds of music, and I love reading books especially Russian literature! In the last few months I started fishing and I really enjoyed it! I love try new things and experiences, because I deeply believe that as much as you try new things you would expose the life! I value deep conversation and trivial as well, meeting new people and talking to them something makes me exposure the life, and especially when they are from other culture!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Maybe it isn’t the extreme I’d like to do, but I’m happy that I did it with my visually impairment. Recently I traveled to the UK on my own for the first time, and I had stayed in the south coast of England for 2 months for English language course. During that time, I traveled around England as a solo traveler, and I met a lot of fantastic people from all over the world, which made me keen to get deeper in traveling and Couchsurfing!

I can share with you a lot about the Arabic and Hijazi culture, and Saudi as well! I can tell you how I traveled on my own as a blind person, and how I’ve overcome all the barriers I’ve faced! I’d love talk to you about music, and play and sing together if you like :) I really love learning new languages, so I’d be happy teach you Arabic and learn your language!
