ABOUT ME

I have an adventurous free spirit and enjoy experiencing cultures and people in their most original and creative senses. Nature is my guide and through its balance I follow the path that shows me the truest and more sincere side of what this life holds. A positive approach has served to deliver insights and possibilities that have helped shape my perceptions of people and how and why they think and act. I can be overly analytical at times, but I try and use my intuition and situational awareness to make the daily decisions that make up my day to day life. Socially I keep a smaller, closer, tight knit group of friends, but I do my best to get along with everyone without being a blatant "people pleaser".

Interests

I enjoy the more active pursuits of hiking and biking, skiing big mountains in deep snow, paddling a surfboard in the swells and occasionally catching mediocre waves. Health and nutrition has been a big focus for a while and I enjoy studying and researching the different effects that food, activity and disposition have on the body and mind. In the last few years I've been reading a lot about sustainable, integrated gardens and the process of living more connected to the earth. Musically and creatively I am a jack of all trades but master of none, playing in bands and jamming with people is one of the more consistant things I've done for most of my life. Photography as a passion has not only financially supported my other pursuits but helped me see things in a different perspective, and motivated me to seek out beautiful scenic landscapes, people and experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking conception and skinny dipping in the crater lake while imagining a lake monster was exhilarating. Repelling into a glacial crevasse and exploring the massive cathedral cave that it opened into was thrilling. Anytime that I am on the top of a mountain while the sun is setting and I ski down in the orangeyellowpurple glow is the closest to "awestruck" that I can think of.
