About Me
Mixed background young professional living in the Washington DC area. Ethnically, I am half Arab and half Scandinavian. I have spent the majority of my life in the United States. I'm very friendly and open to learning, exploring, and discovering new things! I'm a pretty silly guy..laughing is probably my favorite thing to do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had this Couchsurfing account for ages but never got an opportunity to use it! I've have been planning to go on a Eurotrip ever since I saw the movie when i was ~12. Many things have happened over the years that prevented me from going through with it...until now! I've finally finished university and am in a position where I can comfortably travel for a couple of months:) It's been a long time coming. This platform has always fascinated me and I am excited to meet fun and interesting people!
I will be starting my journey in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, then making my way to the following places over the course of 60 days:
Amsterdam 4/16
Bruges 4/22
Brussels 4/24
Cologne 4/26
Frankfurt 4/28
Stuttgart 4/29
Munich 5/2
Vienna 5/6
Bratislava 5/8
Budapest 5/12

Interests
Everything. Good music, food, culture, history, more good music, good movies, people, cybersecurity, bioinformatics, animals, plants and the natural world, language and linguistics in general. I have an extremely wide array of interests..a jack of all trades but a master of none (yet).
For example- my latest endeavors include beekeeping, archery, and riding my unicycle to work.

Music, Movies, and Books
My heartbeat is a reggae rhythm, although I love a lot of different music. I grew up on Michael Jackson and 60s-70s rock, as well as Bob Marley and Peter Tosh. Lately I've been into Tame Impala and Glass Animals.
Much like music, i like all kinds of movies. Some of my favorites are The Fountain and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. And documentaries...Werner Herzog is the man. I don't read as much fiction as i wish I did, but I am big into reading about history and general non-fiction things.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Got a job after graduating college! ...it's the *small* things lol
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a little bit about a lot! I am more than happy to share whatever knowledge I may have!
