Hi, it's Ahmed, I am a Master's in Medical Imaging Student and award-winning short-film director from Algeria.

I enjoy deep conversations and long unplanned trips in new cities (not literally haha). I'm a mix of an old soul that can spend an evening discussing life and a curious kid who could laugh over the silliest thing. Somehow both sides coexist peacefully :)

I lived in 6 different cities across Algeria and what has always stood out for me was the people I meet and learn from, which made me more empathetic, I use that in my short-films that tell the stories of local people and their attachment to their cultural heritage.

Travel for me isn’t about ticking off places, it's about learning new perspectives and experiencing life from a different view. It makes us realize how close and similar we all are. We have only one life, and I believe that the more we travel, the people we meet, and the conversations we have, the more we get to live more lives.
