We are two ladies in our twenties road tripping our way across these great United states of America !
Abby has hosted and surfed, met seriously great people, some of her best friends in fact, and both activities along with CS meetups have enriched her life in an indescribable way.
Catherine is new to the couch surfing community, however she has extensive experience hosting friends (including Abby) at her home, and also has crashed on friends couches as well. She is an incredible cook and awesome lady.
We are taking our two woman show on the road and will be stopping in Chicago, Denver, Portland and Seattle (and who knows, even beyond?) and are searching for some kind souls to host us along the way.
We are super respectful ladies who don't bring the party home with us. We love to explore and see new things and get outside.
Beer culture, delicious eats, live music, traveling, rock-climbing, flannel and self improvement enthuse us :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are looking for hosts (or even people just to explore with) for stays in Chicago, Portland and Seattle (and maybe even more places...? who knows where the wind will take us!)
Abby's CS experience:
"I found out about CS in Prague. Had a lovely experience with amazing people I still think of as friends today. Hosted some in D.C. and NYC, and this past summer, Couch Surfed in 16 countries, HOLY EFF! Nothing but great experiences."
Traveling, laughing, the outdoors including: hiking, rock climbing and mountaineering, pickup sports like soccer/football/frisbee, cooking, live music, reading a good book, hanging out with friends, drinking delicious beer and or wine, meeting new people and seeing new things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Spirited Away, Un Prophet, En la Cama (loved this one), Requiem for a Dream, Stupid movies like Super Troopers ;), Forrest Gump :P, Amadeus, Girl Interrupted, Closely Watched Trains
Music: anything that makes me feel something or that I can dance to ;)
Books: The Millenium Trilogy, The Looming Tower, Love in the Time of Cholera, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Catherine has gone solo backpacking in the White Mountains and has traveled extensively along the east coast.
"In the summer of 2011, I traveled for four months to 16 countries in Europe by myself and learned how to hitch hike (one of my bucket list items.) IT. WAS. AWESOME.
Other fun facts:I've seen my grandfather's hometown in Poland and my grandmother's hometown in Romania. There, a man told me that when he was 11 years old, he remembers my great grandfather getting shot in the chest (by anti-Semites) and surviving, which brought tears to his eyes, and consequently mine.
I've fed a 400 pound bear honey, after which he appropriately responded by sneazing bear juice all over my face."
