I'm Abha from India. I've been born and brought up in the city of Pune, which is a home for about 4 million people. Now I'm a third year graduate student at the Penn State University. I am a physics major, and astronomy enthusiast, and I'm currently working in developing instruction for middle school science curriculum.

I love traveling, I have lived in Germany for studies, which was also the time when I got to travel across Europe. I love meeting people, having conversations, listening to their stories, and learning languages.

I have irrational love for cats and food. I'm a vegetarian. I indulge too much into cakes and confectioneries. I'm always up for a beer!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

This is an experiment for me! I've been globe-trotting since a few of years but always booked an airbnb or a youth hostel. I want to meet more people and learn more about couchsurfing as someone said " Couchsurfing is the best way to meet the most interesting people"

I've hiked and camped in a -7 degrees celsius weather and did not die or lost my toes.
I used to make the cheapest high quality Hula Hoops to promote Poi arts in my home city of Pune. I used to be a movie collector and ran film festivals in my home in Germany.

I can teach how to Hula Hoop. I'm a decent Frisbee player, I can definitely teach someone to play Ultimate.
I like learning languages. I would love to get familiar with new languages and culture.
