One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Can think of lots of amazing things... Like a Night trek through the jungles on a mountain close to Mumbai. It was amazing because it was raining, there was no light and zero sense of direction and we still managed to cross 3 peaks over almost 16 hrs of non stop trekking. Its a different kind of high when you sleep under the stars on a mountain peak for about half an hour and you wake up feeling refreshed... Also, Pangong Lake in Ladakh(India) one of the most beautiful places I had ever seen, it was a full moon night and the daybreak was accompanied by the first snow of the season, there were these mountain donkeys with bells tied around their necks taking shelter from the cold outside my window and i could hear these bells ringing through the night, it was intensely comforting :)... Then there was the desert festival in Jaisalmer(India) with the locals dressed in bight colours, a sharp contrast to the sameness of the sand. Then there was the new year that I spent on a coffee estate in Kerala(India), with waterfalls and wooden bridges, bonfires in front of tiny little cottages. There is nothing awesome than spending 3days on the top of the hill with no connectivity and no neighbors. I guess there is more where that came from but then let's just keep some for the one on one's...
