This Couchsurfing account is in my name (Piyali Das), but the entire idea of hosting guest (free accommodation) has come from my husband and we all supported it. So most of the places on this profile (website) page in our description, I tried to address myself as "WE" not "I". In fact our entire family is eager to involve in this kind of voluntary activities and offer good services. Our main motto is to share education and experience with people from different countries.
I am Piyali Das 31 (F) year’s old lady, mainly housewife, but I have 2 separate small businesses that I need to look after. Before marriage I was a village girl, so could not go far ahead with education. Before reaching to graduation level, I got married. As I was not very studious, I did not want to continue my study further. In my family, everybody speaks/knows better English except me. I have TWINS 11 years old sons and that is my pride and specialty, otherwise I am a simple Bengali girl/housewife.

DREAM:
Me and my husband is having a very special dream jointly. We wish, our two sons will lead this country (India) one day. Tirelessly we are working/planning and thinking on it. We want that our 2 sons will become extreme high level educated person (not scholar) so that they will be capable to lead this country one day with a complete different thought but better direction. We need courage from all our friends and well-wishers.

We think Guest is the other face of God. Who knows when a new guest (God) will come in our life and will educate us with new ideas and thoughts.

1) We have a "Non-Profitable Organization" called "Abhinna Bangla" (অভিন্ন বাংলা), we want this to grow bigger with proper nurture and fulfil the purpose of it in a right manner.
2) People from all over the world should come here and stay peacefully. We want you:

3) As we are not rich, we cannot send our kids to out of country to mix with different types of people, study their culture, food habits, languages, sports, sharing Education, Knowledges and Experiences etc. but what we can do that inviting people here from all over the world and give my Kids chance to mix with Global people and be Educated.

WHY WE ARE ON COUCHSURFING?
First and foremost reason is to get Education from our guests mainly for our Kids.

We believe in “One World One Country”. We dream about a country having no boundary. Couch Surfing Platform can fulfil our dream to some extend by giving us chance to invite new friends from all over the world. We like people to come to our country/home from every corner of the world as a guest, so that we can gift them a good environment and beautiful memories. We would like to share the cultures, traditions, music, food and many more things of our country with our guest and at the same time we would like to know facts about their country as well.
We are very keen to share and discuss about potential business opportunity in INDIA and sharing new business ideas. We, our whole family do generates new new potential and profitable business Ideas, we discuss about it among us but eventually we do forget them as no follow-up. May be some day, some one will be interested to know them from us......God knows.
We believe in “Atithi devo bhabo” (Guest is God), so all of our guests are equally important/valuable to us, no matter their nationality, religion, beliefs, gender, age, sexual orientation or experience in Couchsurfing........ We always try to contribute our fullest possible services within our financial capacity towards every guest, does not matter how rich/poor guest is.

MUSIC: Generally we like that kind of music which feels good on ear and touches our heart. We love Music but there is no certain category of music that we specifically love. We like instrumental music and some music mostly classical based. In short any tune which gives comfort to our ear and ease to mind, we love.
MOVIES: We would like to watch such kind of movies which gives us a special message and increases our knowledge. We do not believe that movies are for entertainment only. We believe movie has a strong power to educate people easily. We like/prefer to watch only those kind of movies which gives us education directly/indirectly.
BOOKS: We are keen to read those kind of books which gives us a moral support and helps us to know the world in different directions

With the request & encouragement of few Bangladeshi friends, a decision has been taken to make a Temporary halt place for all Bangladesh Citizen to stay here free in India, West Bengal and Kolkata as a part of Couch Surfing. To build-up more stronger bridge between West Bengal & Bangladesh (এপার বাংলা & ওপার বাংলা), we have taken this decision. We have already initiated this project with the help of few Bangladeshi & Kolkata friends.
We have named this organization as “ABHINNA BANGLA” (অভিন্ন বাংলা).
We are inviting Bangladeshi friends to visit “ABHINNA BANGLA” in Kolkata and participate in our project. We are seeking support/help from all Bangladeshi + Indian friends and encourage us.
PROJECT: To make temporary accommodation/stay in Kolkata for all BANGLADESHI for FREE

PROJECT REASON:
Only to build up much stronger relationship/bridge between Bangladesh & West Bengal/India, we have started below activities;

1. Many poor patients come from Bangladesh to Kolkata for medical treatment, we are dedicated to offer them confirmed FREE accommodation here in “ABHINNA BANGLA” Kolkata.

2. Many people from Bangladesh come here in Kolkata/India to explore the heritage of this city, they should get a confirmed stay in “ABHINNA BANGLA” Kolkata/India.

3. Many people of Bangladesh are having old relatives in Kolkata/India, they might get a confirmed stay and guidance.

4. Many of Bangladeshi people is having their Birth place in Kolkata/India, they have a sentiment about their Birth place. We welcome them as well and ensure a confirmed stay for them.

5. Many financially weak students from Bangladesh come here in Kolkata/India for higher study, they should get initial confirmed stay here in “ABHINNA BANGLA” before they find/arrange other alternate accommodation.

6. Many tourists from Bangladesh comes here to travel many places of India. They all start/end their India travel from/at Kolkata. Those travelers also get confirmed stay in “ABHINNA BANGLA” Kolkata.
PROPERTY:
Piyali Das (Didi) is the founder and one of the main key person of this project. She has allowed her own flat to be used by “ABHINNA BANGLA” for the start-up of this project. So we have already started this project with this own small property. We are in a process of expanding the property to accommodate large number of Bangladeshi friends. We have already selected/identified few more properties in the same location. We will buy/purchase those properties in near future.

Our current ABHINNA BANGLA property and projected properties are situated in prime location of Kolkata. Kolkata is known as “City of Joy” and it is the oldest recognised city in India, also it is the previous Capital of India. For your reference, location description given below;
1) Surrounded by all major international hospitals like Devi Shetty Heart Research, Shankar Netralay, AMRI, Medica, Ruby, Forties, Desun, Peerless, APEX and Netaji Subhash Cancer Hospital etc.

1. ROOM - Fully furnished (Completely free )
We can accommodate max 3 guests at a time......depends on availability.
2. FOOD - The very First meal (lunch or dinner) will be offered to every “Abhinna Bangla” member as a complimentary.
a) Fully operating kitchen is available (free), we can offer/supply to our guest raw materials (not free) so that they can cook as per their own choice. b) We can prepare local special Indian food for them (partial free). c) They can go to any local restaurant to have experience with different types of local foods.
3. Will try to assign one of our car to put in service dedicated to our guest (24 hrs) (fuel not free).
4. One local mobile phone with SIM (if they require at all) for their travelling period in Kolkata city. Where internet (free), Whatsapp/FB calling/messaging (free), Incoming international call (free) but outgoing call is chargeable.
5. One of our member will try to assist them as a guide (if they require) to reduce difficulties of local language and finding local areas. Also keep them safe from cheaters and facing unwanted problems.
