ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going and social guy. I like meeting people from different nationalities and learning from them.

I have been introduced to couch surfing by my very dear friend Junyoung. I am a science person and during my past research work my labs were situated next to the Taj Mahal in India and with a great view of the big Ben,the London Eye and of the South Bank in London. I took it as a sign and realized that there is a lot more in store that the world has to offer and I should travel to a different country and experience a contrasting culture whenever I can find an opportunity to do so.
Writing about myself is not my favorite thing to do and I don't think I'm good at it. To know more just message me ... I am a friendly guy and will be happy to help.

Living in Delhi now, and my past hosting experiences were at my home, with my family, in Udaipur (India) so can not host as per now but will be more than happy to help if any help needed.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I am a movie geek ... Watching a movie lying on a couch with a bowl full of pop corn is the ideal weekend plan with family or friends. I enjoy all genres and I enjoy cinema from all corners of the world. My favorite list of movies will include : The silence of the lamb, City of god,Casablanca, Pather Panchali, Slumdog Millionaire, Dilwale dulhaniya le Jayenge, Amar Prem, La vita è bella, La grande bellezza, Le conseguenze dell'amore, The Truman show, El secreto de sus ojos .... the list is long .... I thought last year that I must have seen more than 2K movies so I started adding movies in watched movie list on facebook... the list has reached a figure of 1600, hope you can help in adding a few more to this list ... (smile)

Music: I am also a student of Indian Classical music and I play and perform the Sitar, if U are interested I can show you the basics of Indian classical !!!

Books: Do not want to pile this list with all the Genetics and Biomedical books that i have read (lol), but I can say that I am a big Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, Emily Brontë, Jhumpa Lahiri, J.R.R. Tolkein,Rabindra Nath Tagore, Dan Brown and Homer fan with shared interest in mythology (Indian, Greek and Roman) and folktales from around the world.
