Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm hard-wired to be an explorer. I like exploring different cuisines, cultures, ways of life, and as you've probably read, languages. The saying goes, "curiosity killed the cat". Do you know that it's not the full saying? The actual saying is, "curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back" (not kidding!). I'm that cat.

One day, I want to travel the world and explore all of that. Right now, my 9 to 5 job is binding me down. So I did the next best thing. I signed up for couchsurfing and hoped the world would come to me, until time is ripe for me to go explore.

I hope we get to exchange a lot of interesting aspects of our culture!

Music, Movies, and Books

My go-to music genres are Alt rock and neopsychedelia. I do enjoy other genres too, so don't worry about that.

I don't like Hollywood or Bollywood movies much. I'd rather go for local Indian or international movies. Any Akira Kurosawa movie, Train to Busan, Salyut 7, Intouchables, Amelie, and the list goes on.

I admit I don't have much time to read books these days, but I am a proud owner of all the 7 Harry Potter books from different publishers and cover styles, from Scholastic to Bloomsbury.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw a monkey 180° 4 hands+ tail slap someone. Not saying it was cool. Just saying... It's a once-in-a-lifetime thing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I cook. I cook well. If you're hosting me, I'll keep your stomach and taste-buds happy.
Also, I have stories, if you want.

If we are just meeting, I'll automatically turn the guide mode on, so you don't have to worry about anything. Also... I can take you to interesting eateries.
