About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world. Make countless friends in every part of the world!

ABOUT ME

I am really a dreamer. But I make a living by deliberately churning out complex financials models that no one really understands. And some jazzy presentations :)

So I left my job recently (Feb 2016) and I am embarking to travel the world before I get bitten by the corporate bug yet again! And before I get admitted to a business school for my second MBA.

I have a natural affinity for people. And cultures. People say I am easy to get along with and talk to. I would not disagree. Enthusiastic to try new experiences, explore the unexplored. I am generally a late nighter, and would either be watching some movies, reading a book or drinking at a pub. I am mostly partying late night on the weekends.

Oh and I can party till everyone drops! And I can cook the best hangover meals and mocktails the next day :)

A conversationalist. An observer. A Traveler, Backpacker, voracious reader..movie junkie..thinker..gastronomical..an amateur cook..a music enthusiast , three-times beginner level salsa dancer.. a scuba diver..one-time bunjee jumper..trained rafter..an adventure sport enthusiast..finance geek..and yet, a seeker of solace and divinity..
They say I am famed for my Indian meals, pasta and sangrias! So if I get to host you, you better try the food I cook. I promise I wont spice it up :P

All that..and I think I am still in the process of discovering myself.

If you would like to discover more about me, please feel free to find me on facebook or linkedin.

PHILOSOPHY

You don't get to choose how you're going to die. Or when. You can only decide how you're going to live. Now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by being open to people and ideas.. by hosting travelers and sharing those little known local delights, engaging in interesting conversations and random banter.

I have undertaken backpacking trips with fellow travelers, hostel-mates and CS friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been on the site for so long, but I have not really couchsurfed at anyon's place. And hence, I want to try this when I travel!
My friends from overseas and their friends have couchsurfed at my place for days and even weeks at a time.. have hosted quite a few people except in the last 2 years when I was traveling extensively for work.

I now wish to see the world by couchsurfing in every country I travel to!
Back on the community after a hiatus of 2 years! I hope to make the most of it by hosting people at my beautiful home in Mumbai and Calcutta!

I don't have references yet. You can checkout my Facebook and LinkedIn profile in case you are curious! :)

I fell off a parasail in the middle of the Indian Ocean and I survived to tell the tale.
Skiing in Jungfrau-gen, Switzerland!
Partying the night away in Venice!
Vatican City & the rest of Rome! The amazing history behind every Roman street!
Nightlife in Nice, France..

Teach, Learn, Share

I will share with you those tips and help you explore the places which no Lonely Planet will talk about. I will help you see the city for real, the way it is, from the eyes of a local and not a tourist guide!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Can share my travel and adventure experiences.
I will cook for you and teach you some Indian vegetarian cooking. I find cooking a great way to de-stress! And why not engage in conversations from around the world, politics, the state of cultures.
Learn salsa from me.
Learn how to chug 7 LIITs and still be sane!
I can teach you some stuff about finance and management, if you are curious.
