Last year was an amazing year of travel for me, I managed to travel with my partner from Stroud in Gloucestershire to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, overland, no flying at all, through Europe, up to Scandinavia, across Russia, Japan, China, Vietnam, Cambodia... And it was awesome :) but also made us think... Why don't we know our own country, the UK better?!

So, the next trip starts soon! My partner Jack and I are touring the UK by electric bicycle, 100 circuits of 100 miles each! We met so many great, inspiring and beautiful people through couch surfing and other ways last year all over the world and can't wait to make new friends in our own country.

Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing

At the beginning of April last year my partner Jack and I quit our jobs and I set off on a quest to try and get from England to Indonesia overland. We have met some amazing people along the way and definitely have a few stories to tell!

The main reason we are travelling is to talk and learn from people and couchsurfing is such a great way of getting in touch.

Interessi

Cycling around on my bright green road bike through the valleys, painting, drawing with pen and ink, Playing my electric piano when I want to relax, tap dancing and I really want to try my hand at other types of dance. I can't wait to start learning about sustainability growing my own food and produce, hopefully that project can start soon.

But for now, I am loving my new electric bike and can't wait to start touring around the country :D

Musica, film e libri

I like acoustic, folk music and anything with a good beat, favourites being Newton Faulkner, Alt-J, Ben Howard, Guillemots, Yeasayer, Mumford & Sons, The Cat Empire, Bedioun Soundclash.

Favourite books are the Northern Lights trilogy.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Lots of amazing things have happened to me, big and small. Other achievements have been a lot more meaningful to me but I really loved thing canoeing through the Amazon jungle and camping on a snow capped mountain in Norway (enjoyed that one more when it was over mind!)
