At the age of 6 I attended an archaeological dig of a Mayan site in Belize with my mother (an archaeologist) for several months and assisted in the discovery of many shards of face pots (it was my job to sift through piles of what had already been sifted and missed) which are now in the University of Pennsylvania's anthropology museum.
