Hi! I'm Abie — an extremely extrovert guy who thrives on spontaneous conversations and unexpected encounters. I own a graphic design studio, where storytelling and connecting with people are part of what I do every day.

But beyond work, my true passion is to understand others who live a different life than me. I've hopped across several countries not just for sightseeing, but simply to meet new people, share meals, trade perspectives, and laugh at things lost in translation. Whether over tea, street food, or long walks, I believe the best part of travel is the people you meet along the way.

I’m on Couchsurfing because I love spontaneity — the kind that brings strangers together in the most unexpected and meaningful ways. I don’t just travel to see places, I travel to meet people. Couchsurfing lets me step out of the usual tourist routes and into real, unfiltered human connections.

When I’m not traveling, I love hosting or hanging out with travelers in my cities — Jakarta and Yogyakarta. One of my favorite things is driving people around, hunting for the best local food, and just talking about life, culture, or whatever comes up. I enjoy telling stories about my city, its hidden gems, and the little things that make it special. For me, these shared moments are what make the Couchsurfing experience unforgettable.
