Hi, everyone! I'm Abigail, and I'm 18 and ready to take on the world! Instead of going straight to college (like the rest of my hometown friends), I'm taking my savings and going on a fantastic year-round trip around east and west Europe. Talk about a gap year, am I right? I've honestly never been so excited for something in my whole life!

For people who want to know a little about me:
My favorite color is definitely red.
I finished all of my American math requirements before I had even started high school (basically I'm a math whiz).
I can read a page in a book 3 times over and still not understand a word it's saying. YET, I love writing and I am starting my own travel blog.
My jobs include sales, nannying, tutoring, and web design.
I've been a professional theatre actor since I was 14.
I love cooking! But, give me a recipe, first! Otherwise, I'm a complete mess.
On the other hand, I'm big on clean stuff, not a germaphobe, but I definitely want to be organized.

What else can I say? Oh I don't know. I'd love to talk and we can learn more about each other!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is such a great platform! It's really amazing to see how generous and welcoming strangers can be! I am so excited to give couchsurfing a try as I am currently planning a year backpacking trip in Europe starting early September 2018. I can't wait to visit new places and share my adventures with some incredibly nice and genuine people!

I love all music, and you better believe I am addicted to my Spotify account. I don't even use ITunes anymore!

My favorite movies of all time are The Shawshank Redemption and Forrest Gump. I watch these on repeat and still don't get bored!

And lastly, my favorite book is an obscure one! It's called Distant Waves. It's this paranormal science fiction romance novel surrounding the Titanic. I know it sounds insane, but I would die for this book!
