I am 23 years old and graduated from Mississippi State University in May of 2018 with Biochemistry and Molecular Biology degrees and a minor in Spanish. I am from the Mississippi Delta where I grew up learning how to make fun out of nothing with my sweet sweet friends.

My interests include my dog (Sadie Girl), all other dogs, friends, coffee and also breakfast food, being outside, LIVE MUSIC, hiking, books (especially John Steinbeck), and The Office. My hobbies include meeting new people, traveling, learning about new cultures, taking low-quality iPhone photos of sweet moments, singing loudly in the car, and exploring.

I am on Couchsurfing so that I can meet new people and experience new cultures through the eyes of locals. I want to experience new places and experience new foods, cultural experiences, and new people.

Starting in August 2018 I left behind my normal life to embark on an 11-month journey around the world with an international organization. Thus far we've been in Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, and now we are in Asia!

I'm traveling with my sweet teammates, Rebecca, Tori, Shelby, and Mollie. We are looking for ways to experience the culture in a deeper way, create lasting relationships, share all of our stories and hear your stories as well, and serve the people we meet and the cities where we stay. We think Couchsurfing will give us more opportunities to do all of these things!

I have gotten the opportunity to live and work along the Amazon River in Peru and Colombia. We would live in boats, huts, and homes along the river while we worked with indigenous people groups. We would teach local children, visit the elderly, equip the local leaders, and empower women.
