About Me

I'm Abi, originally from Argentina, currently travelling the world with my adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. 🌍🐶

I'm passionate about culture, food, and meeting people from all walks of life. I work remotely, which gives me the freedom to immerse myself in new environments and truly experience the places I visit—not just as a tourist, but as part of the community.

I love sharing stories, learning about local customs, and discovering hidden gems through the eyes of locals. Whether it's cooking together, swapping travel tales, or exploring your favorite spots in town, I’m always up for meaningful connections.

I’d be happy to host or meet up—especially if you're a fellow traveler, dog lover, or just someone with a curious spirit. :)

Looking forward to connecting!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing to connect with kind, curious people and to find more culturally rich, meaningful, and fun places to stay during my travels. I love the idea of sharing everyday life with locals—whether it’s over a home-cooked meal, a walk through your neighborhood, or just good conversation.

I work remotely, so I try to truly immerse myself wherever I go. Culture, food, and meeting new people are what keep me inspired. I’m also more than happy to host when I’m settled in a place—especially fellow travelers and dog lovers!

Music, Movies, and Books

What I’m Into
I love learning about new cultures through food, everyday life, and real conversations. I’m happiest wandering a local market, trying something I can’t pronounce, or just hanging out with someone who’s willing to show me their version of “home.”

Music
I listen to a lot of different music depending on the mood, but Argentine beats and tango always feel like home. I also love chill acoustic sets, indie artists, rock, and music from around the world—especially anything that makes you want to move or gets under your skin in a good way.

Books
Memoirs are my favourite—I love reading about people’s lives, especially when they’re raw, honest, or connected to place. I also have a soft spot for magical realism (thank you, Argentina) and books that explore culture, identity, or human connection. I always carry a book or two with me when I travel.

Movies & Series
I’m a big fan of foreign films, especially the kind that focus on people, small moments, and culture. I like stories that feel real, with a little soul and personality. I'm always up for recommendations or a movie night :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Accidentally ended up in a local protest for the development of a telescope in a Hawaiian mountain, so I joined and protested with the locals. There must be some internet footage somewhere that has me singing hawaiian songs and dancing to the rythm :)
