I love indie rock and folk music, 90’s alternative rock, Father John Misty (lyrics ❤️), Tame Impala, Palace, Gino Paoli (when I am sad in Italy), many many others- always looking for new music- and I love live music. Movies- Donnie Darko, 50 first dates, A Lot Like Love, Surf’s Up, Dan in Real Life, etc, etc. Love any dramatic novel with embellished writing aka Pat Conroy from South Carolina. Also love survival tales/memoirs. My favorite book is Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts- a must read for a traveler. I’m a romantic at heart- all of my choices in art reflect this.

I love to cook, but lack confidence coming from silly old America. I came here to learn authentic Italian recipes but I’m curious about gastronomy from all over the world. Even more so, I love to learn about the culture surrounding food and the way it is eaten, shared, etc. We can learn from eachother perhaps!
