ABOUT ME

My wife and I live in beautiful Western Maryland near Sharpsburg, Maryland. When I lived in Prague the last three years, I was able to host couch surfers and very much enjoyed the experience. For those visiting this area, we are able to offer -- when available -- a bed and bathroom with separate entrance.

I strongly prefer to host people who have themselves been hosts and are part of the wider community.

PHILOSOPHY

Control your "wants" and the world is an easier place to handle (core Buddhism).

Play European football, downhill skiing, crazy reader, learn languages, try whatever alcohol is produced locally, watch movies.
