ABOUT ME

A carefree Physicist, and Wanderlust.

I work at the Laboratories of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the beautiful hidden valleys of east Tennessee. I love hiking, biking, rafting and going around the Smoky Mountain National Park which is close by, and also meet and make friends with people from all backgrounds.

Previously, have worked at Laboratories of University of Chicago or Argonne National Lab. But I always find time to be with people who love travelling and life and also participate as far as possible. I have been actively involved with cultural groups and have also performed actively in Dramatics while in Chicago. Performing arts in Tennessee is a bit difficult, but nevertheless, I try.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that Travelling is the greatest teacher, Realisation through reticence is the greatest soother and Physics and Philosophy give the Ultimate Truth.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing is an amazing concept for like minded travel loving people to meet, share and recommend their experiences. i have met some of the best (and also the wierd, in a good way though) people via couch surfing. The underlying theme is common - love for people, openness to new culture and experiences, and an indomitable courage to know. I would be happy to host people for the time being, and know more about what can be done. I am still a novice in CS2.

Interessen

Photography (landscapes), Physics and Science, Earth and Geography, Psychology and Religion, Demography Ethnic Cultures, meeting natives and enjoying local Cuisines. Hiking, Biking, Running, Dramatics (mostly Bengali and occasional English), Swimming.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Flew from Lakshadweep to Goa on the Cockpit of a 6 seater jet. Traveled to 25 of the 29 States in India.

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

Experiences and recommendation of travelling in India, USA and Europe. Wild trails and State Parks around East Tennessee and of course Smoky mountains. Some country music suggestions. And I love explaining what we see in nature, whether it be in living or the non-living, that is what has made me a scientist. I can share my thoughts and experiences on that as well.

I am not the party-loving kind, but I am a good and responsible host (and probably a good guest too).
