About Me

We live just one time and every second of this life is valuable. I try to enjoy the life visiting new places, meeting new people and discovering new stuffs.
It takes time to get me close to someone but when I find somethings in common I would be able to strengthen an eternal friendship.
I not only like to travel around the world but also read books specially about people, their behaviors, their customs, their foods, their life styles, their temples, their gods and so on. I am the pilgrim of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because traveling is my passion and I admire who travel around the world; also who are ready to sleep in an unknown place!
Before becoming a member of CS I already was doing that! Twenty years ago I was working in a street in our small town in Iran. One day I saw a blond guy with his bike and two backpacks. He was tired and I offered him a glass of cold water. He was coming from the UK and going to China by bike! For me it was wonderful and it was absolutely rare someone passes our town by bike from the Far West to the Far East! Anyway I showed him the sights and monuments of our town and invited him to our home to sleep.
My mother and my younger sister were happy since we had a new and strange guest but my father ... he was quite angry with me because he was sure that the guy is a spy and a member of the "Intelligent Service"! :D
Anyway that night he (Tony Brucks[?]) remained at our home. I gave him my bed and I slept on the floor. The next day he continued his travel to China and it was my first experience of hosting unknown people.
Two weeks ago and in a very cold night, when I was going home, a guy asked me that where can he find a cheap hostel. He told me that he was invited by his friend but at the last time the friend changed the program and now he is looking for a low cost place. I asked him: "are you a member of CS?!"
"No" he answered. "Never mind. You can stay in my place if you want" I replied.
And he accepted!
Anyway the philosophy of CS is a good idea.
