About Me

Just an average and easy-going guy from Stuttgart who is enjoying life and probably uses way to much sarcasm.
I currently work in the IT Department of a company.

Love meeting new people and having random discussions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

"It's a great opportunity to meet people from all over the world and hear fascinating stories about their travels and hometowns." was what I wrote some years ago, but actually I just needed a couch to crash on.
And friends..
You wanna be my friend?

I signed in here because my old flatmate used to invite random strangers into our home and who took over my bedroom so I had to share a room and bed with him in the meantime.
Turns out they where all couchsurfers and fun to have arround.

Interests

Music
TV Series
Comics
Web Development
Playing Basketball
Tricking (Freestyle Acrobatic)
Dancing ( My pretty much only move: "The Carlton" from Prince of Bel-Air )

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kinds of stuff.
Especially Jazz, Blues, Soul, Old School and things like Jazz Hop.
I'm always interested what kind of music someone listens to.
Also I love recommendations for new songs and inspiration.

About movies. Hmm. I love watching stand ups and comedies. That doesn't mean I dislike other genres (except horror maybe).
And then there are TV series - well..I watch a lot of TV series, almost everything - from Adventure Time and Friends to Sherlock and Firefly.

Books - I read mostly non-fiction books.
Recently I discovered Brandon Sanderson for me and currently read through his fantasy books.
Not to forget comics - DC and Marvel / mangas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tough one.
Probably having had a lot of different jobs in completely different areas and learning how everything works behind the scenes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you one or two things from germany. For example the language( if people are actually interested in learning german^^" ).
Of course I can show you around in Stuttgart. From the museum to the night life in Stuttgart.
Also some basics in IT and Web Development.

I'm always eager to learn new stuff and things :)

I can share everything from my Wi-Fi connection to the experiences I made (You just need to ask).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some of the finest german sentences and how almost everything can sound angry if you say it in german (even compliments - NO - especially compliments!).
A little bit of card magic that works
..almost never
And of course stories and discussions about everything we can think of. Or we can just laugh about my attempts to surprise you with some card magic.

Not to forget - a good beer or cocktail
