ABOUT ME

I'm passionate about the untouched world - trees, plants, insects, birds, the sky, rocks... I'm going to try my damn hardest to make sure that we, as the human race, don't do as much damage to our planet as we've been doing lately. I make it my mission in life to have as many different experiences as possible with as many different people as possible. I want to try it all!

PHILOSOPHY

Stop for a moment in the forest and open your mind to the sounds of nature busy around you. Sit on the edge of a cliff and feel the pull of the waterfall cascading hundreds of feet down below you. Stand facing in the desert sun miles from anywhere and feel it warm you.
Only after these sorts of experiences do we feel the sense of belonging and coming home that the natural world inspires. Only after these sorts of experiences may we understand the importance of preserving the natural world.

I live for music - Tea Leaf Green, Yonder Mountain String Band, Yeasayer, Local Natives, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Maceo Parker, Daft Punk. I love it all.
Some authors I'm currently enjoying are Edward Abbey, Tom Robbins, Aldo Leopold, and John Muir.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

backpacking for 8 days on the John Muir Trail into Yosemite -- definitely one of the best experiences of my life so far.

I'm out of practice but can lead some yoga.
