Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Aboubakr—originally from Egypt and currently living and working in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
I work in product and business management, but outside of work, I’m passionate about nature, meaningful conversations, and exploring different cultures in simple and genuine ways.
I’m calm, respectful, open-minded, and always curious to learn. I don’t enjoy loud places or tourist traps—I prefer peaceful settings, authentic food, and meeting people with real stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe the best way to discover a country is through its people. I’m not just visiting Georgia for the sights, but for the experience of sharing food, culture, and daily life with locals.
I’m especially interested in traditional homes, countryside living, cooking (especially meat dishes!), and learning how others live and think.
Couchsurfing feels like the perfect way to connect with kind and generous people, and I’d love to return that kindness someday if you ever visit my part of the world.
Interests
I love good, homemade food and I’m happy to help in the kitchen or even clean up afterwards 😅
I enjoy deep conversations, cultural exchange, and learning new skills—even basic farming or cooking.
I don’t drink alcohol, but I enjoy tea, coffee, and long, relaxed meals with kind people.
I’m open to new experiences like animal care or even gentle horseback riding.
If you’re interested in Egyptian or Middle Eastern culture, I’d be happy to share stories, music, or even recipes!

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy calm and emotional music—especially instrumental pieces like Yanni, Omar Khairat, and even Mozart. I also like classic Arabic songs that bring back good memories.
When it comes to movies, I enjoy action, crime, and clever stories. Shows like The Blacklist or movies like Lucy and Ocean’s Eleven are the kind of entertainment I enjoy. In general, I like anything with a mix of suspense, intelligence, and a bit of fun.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve been lucky to travel to many places—Malaysia, China, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Portugal, Spain, Italy, the UAE, Oman (Salalah), and the Maldives. But no matter where I go, the best moments are always the simple ones: sitting by the sea, relaxing, or spending time with locals in a real cultural experience. For me, learning about a country through its people, food, and everyday life is the most amazing part of traveling.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m happy to share stories and experiences from Egypt and Saudi Arabia, and I can teach a bit about Arabic culture or language if you’re interested. I love learning about how people live in different places, especially traditional ways of life, local cooking, and simple routines. I’m always curious to try new things and would love to learn how to cook Georgian food or experience life in the countryside. I enjoy sharing meals, conversations, and a peaceful time with people. Also, if I’m in Riyadh or Egypt and have the time, I’d be happy to host or meet up.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer good company, respectful energy, and help around the house. I’m always happy to join in cooking, cleaning, or just sharing stories and laughter. I’m quiet, clean, and easygoing. If you ever come to Riyadh or Egypt and I’m available, I’d be happy to host or meet up.
