About Me

I was born and raised in Sacramento, California.

Being human, we all make mistakes, so no person should be ashamed of theirs.

My imagination has always been as memorable as my reality.

I know how lucky I am to have lived the life I have thus far.

Love is paradise. Fear is hell. Life is now.

There is something incredibly satisfying about finding out how things work, repairing broken things of all sorts, and learning new handy skills.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to share the gift of giving and pay it forward to earn the opportunity to learn from my fellow people of the Earth.

My faith in humanity has been restored when shelter was offered to me when I felt my life depended on it. Sharing my space is my chance to repay that debt.

I search for answers to questions unknown and places unseen.

As a dreamer it is spending time with people sharing stories, ideas, and perspectives that fuel my muse and motivates me to get things done.

I daily dream of sailing the high seas. In my opinion, sustainability is the primary goal for this era of humanity. We need more creativity and activity for developing self sufficient communities. I am constantly inspired by our collective world history and the tales, myths, and lore of all human folk.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can enjoy anything with a melody and a beat but I prefer something that gives you goosebumps without a single spoken word.

Film is an art form so anything that tells a story, makes you feel, or inspires the imagination. Lately I've been watching series of shows instead of movies. It saves time and tells a grander tale.

My reading is split between epic novels and informative handbooks or articles. I go for the classics and the eclectic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I found love

Teach, Learn, Share

In my experience with traveling, my most cherished memories are when I became friends with someone local. Sharing living space gives the most opportunities to teach, learn, and share.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am handy, creative, practical, eager, flexible, and I try to be generally positive. Sometimes Im surprised by the positive impact merely sharing company can have on one's outlook. A basic goal as a guest is to ease the daily burdens my hosts have to deal with.

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Thailand
