Hello! My name is Abril. I'm 27 years old. I live in Barcelona but when I was 2 years old, with my family we went to live in a house in the middle of the nowhere in Teruel (one of the least densely populated areas in Europe).

I studied Communication and Cultural Industries and I have been working in a flamenco tablao, different festivals of plastic arts and scenic literature festival (slam poetry). But I've also worked as a waitress, on farms or whatever. Everyone knows that making a living from art is difficult.
I love photography, recording videos, collage and sculpture.

As a result of the covid, I started making Land Art installations, and for 3 years I have been producing a festival of ephemeral installations where I combine Land Art with visual arts

Right now I am traveling through Asia and my goal is to connect with different bioconstruction projects or creative spaces to create Land Art installations and creative synergies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been using Workaway since 2017. I think the cultural exchange is the difference from being a tourist to a traveler, I definitely want to be a traveler.
I had yet to use Couchsurfing but I had never found the time because I have always shared a flat with a friend who didn't really like other people's visits.
But I think now is a good start.

I really like electronic music, especially techno and house. But I also love soul, disco and flamenco.
