Hi! I'm a girl from China who likes to travel and right at the moment I'm finishing up a master in Spain. My major is Media and Translation. I'd like to think I'm open-minded, spontaneous and passionate. I'm always interested in different cultures and sharing interesting travel stories. To taste, to see, to understand, to explore, to feel more. This is my purpose. Always dying to try new things, especially food! Though it doesn't turn out so good every time, it won't stop me from trying!

I love the absurdity of life, I love the fact that people can surprise you everyday, I love that even a bad dream at night can make you think and change, I love people still have the piece of themselves inside no matter what they do. I love camping in the desert, a barbecue on the beach, a cozy movie night at home, on the road with my dog, taking a train to anywhere, just look at the stars, an adventure on mysterious land, a simple good talk, a nice meal:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm starting a six-month journey, 19 countries throughout Europe. I feel so blessed to have this kind of an opportunity in my life and I really wanna do it right. There are so many things I want to do, this, is one of my biggest dreams. So you can imagine that I'm excited.

I want to take this opportunity to see the views I've never seen before, to meet people out in the world and experience different lives. I think couchsurfing is the best way to do so, cause they always say, after a long travel, sometimes it's not the view that impresses you most, it's the people.

Interests

I love films, music, food and I love to travel. What I really want to do with my life is to travel around the world with my dog and rescue animals from abuse. I love animals especially dogs, my heart melts every time I see a dog, I have a Border Collie of my own back in China, and I miss her every single day!

I cannot say I'm a hardcore Sci-Fi fan, but I really love to hear and talk about new theories on how to see the world. I'm interested in all the mysterious events, needless to say, I believe in extra-terrestrial, I'd even like to believe there is another form of life living in the centrosphere. My favorite theory is there are countless universe and our Earth is just one of them. I don't believe in ghosts, or maybe I'm too afraid to believe they are real, if that makes any sense...

My all-time favorite movie is Leaving Las Vegas. I also love sitcoms, stand-ups and improvs. All kinds of comedy stuff.
My favorite author is Yu Hua, he writes stories about how normal people's life get drastically changed by society. He emphasizes the pain in life, just the pain itself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Personally, that one thing is having my dog. But I guess maybe that's not much of an achievement... This travel may become the most wonderful thing though, I'm looking forward to it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't suppose I have much to offer, perhaps I can teach you Chinese, English and some basic Spanish, maybe fix some computer problems or how to train a dog? I can talk about almost anything and I would love to learn to how to play a guitar, speak French, write Arabic, German, skiing...

What I Can Share with Hosts
