Photojournalism in the Middle East

ABOUT ME

I am a 30 year old single American male. I speak English and Spanish. I am in law school but I don't want to be a lawyer. I would prefer to be a photojournalist. To that end I am going to Syria this coming summer (2012). I would like to meet people on this site who I can stay with and who can put me in touch with opposition leadership.

I used to be an infantry officer in the US Marine Corps. I've served in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm a pretty serious and intense person but I also keep a good sense of humor. I believe strongly that people everywhere have the inherent right to their own freedom.

I'll be entering Syria without a visa and staying there all summer.
