ABOUT ME

Well, I love people, I love to talk to them and understand them... I like to tell them about our world and try to make them understand us... Arabs and Muslims.

I don't hate anyone or any religion, but have to tell you that we don't know alot about the western mentality except from the media, which shows them indifferent to the problems in our region and that they just have the wrong stereotypes about the Arabs and Muslims like our vision about them... That they are not well educated and that they don't know anything outside their personal interests.
We surely need to change this vision and maybe I can assist in changing your idea about our Region, and why don't you share us the experience and make our people change theirs as well.

PHILOSOPHY

No one is wrong, but people think differently and they see everything from a different angle or different point of view.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can receive people, I can advise them where to go and what to see. I can even accompagny them and explain a lot to them.

But if someone wants to stay for longer periods, I can receive him or her at my house for a short period, then I can help him or her in finding a suitable place to live in.

If someone wants to learn Arabic, I can help in finding him or her a suitable place among them my Cultural Center.

If someone wants to volunteer and teach his/her language: English, German, Spanish, French or Italian to our students here in Irbid, I'm ready to accept him/her at my Cultural Center and host him/her at my extra apartment. I'll suggest him/her some touristic tours if the season allows it.

If you decide to stay for a longer period, 6 months or more, I'll be glad to offer you the air ticket as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Its a brilliant idea, I like it, I haven't surfed yet, but may be will do it one day.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've lived two years with priests in a Monastry, I shared alot with them and learnt alot from them as well. We reached a mutual understanding, I love them, I respect them, but still Muslim, they love me, they respect me and they still Christians, so no matter what your religion is or where you are from, the important thing is how you deal with people and how they react towards you.
