ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm Acacia from Alaska! I'm a fine-art photographer currently pursuing my BFA at Rhode Island School of Design. I'm interested in almost everything, very positive and flexible when traveling, and am rarely bored. I love the outdoors! I want to speak every language, go everywhere and see everything, but I´m just taking it one step at a time for now.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've CouchSurfed, been to several CS meetings and parties in Stockholm, hosted the most amazing people, and built lasting connections. I think this is one of the greatest projects I have ever heard of.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

March 2009: Surfed Maija's couch in Lugano, Switzerland (that's when I decided to move there!)

July 2009: Surfed Milla's couch in Stockholm, Sweden

October 2009: Hosted Maija from Oregon, Laura from Australia, and Kristin from Hawaii

February 2010: Hosted Romina and Claudia from Patagonia, Argentina

April 2010: CouchSurfed with Nat and David in Lausanne, Switzerland
Hosted Selin and Natalie from Switzerland

December 2010: Visited Romina in Argentina!

I love every movie ever made by Miyazaki, but then also, you know, action and thriller and drama and romantic comedy and all that are great. Film is magic.

I like alternative rock and electropop, 90's dance hits and Scandinavian techno, folk and chill music - basically anything.
