to step out of my little bubble in SF to see the world from a different perspective

ABOUT ME

I'm a Chinese American born and raised in SF bay area.
I went to school in Washington, DC for my undergraduate, Beijing for PhD, and just moved to Orlando for work.
My first step out of the country was my first time in Europe summer 2010.
Now I am embarking on my explorations through Asia on the side of grad school.

PHILOSOPHY

With everything, I believe that failure is never an issue as long as you have the passion and desire to experience it for the good and bad. As long as you open your heart to experience, you will appreciate everything you receive with a new insight, new knowledge and new perespective.

I am constantly moving but overtime when I settle in my own apartment I'll update an open bed or sofa :)

First one in Milan, Italy during summer 2010.

Blogging, cooking (playing around with vegan food), music (learning new instruments from different cultures), traveling, meeting new friends, learning their stories, learning new languages, tasting new sites and seeing the world from all angles
