About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to remember the names of everyone I meet - really, it's not that easy....
ABOUT ME
Travel-sized for your convenience! I'm a small person who wants to make a big difference someday. As I'm scanning the horizon for my next destination, I'd like to get sidetracked by an adventure.
I have been a Vermonter for most of my life, around the Burlington area - I love that place! So maybe small-town New Englander describes me, but I've also been lucky enough to visit some other amazing places of the world. I'd like to think I'm youthful, open-minded, down-to-earth, and smiley, and I hope it's contagious.
PHILOSOPHY
Live to love and you will love to live
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
"Couchage" to the max at my place. Meeting the friends I never knew I had in different places.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
With my best pal in Venice Beach, sipping wine and riding bikes in Boston, and telling jokes around the bonfire in Vermont
Interests
Here's the tip of the iceberg: soccer, ice hockey, x-country skiing, ice skating, swimming, running, hiking, biking, jigsaw puzzles, poetry, cooking, gardening, dancing, laughing, getting lost in interesting places, congenial arguing, hearty home cooking, sunbathing, garage sale surfing, art exhibitions, and sitting on top of the world with a chocolate bar and a good tune stuck in my head.

Music, Movies, and Books
definitely, all three
...but I'm terrible with names, so I usually describe these as "the one that goes....." or "the thing about the thing..."
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swam in the Adriatic in mid-November at 6 a.m. as the sun came up. I felt so alive - and the locals watching from the bus stop thought we were crazy.
Teach, Learn, Share
This is probably not what the CouchSurfing Professors intend for me to say, but it's something:
Did you know that lobsters are the only creatures on earth that lack a key hormone that would make them age? That means that they don't reach a "maturity" or a maximum adult size, like we humans do - they just keep growing the older they get! Imagine that...Now you know...tell your friends.
Be here and be happy.
