About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

Hmm... all about me! I guess you could say I'm a free-spirited, creative individual. Having been born and raised in Wisconsin I have a lot of pride in my state, but that doesn't stop me from exploring the rest of the world. I love traveling and the way it broadens the mind like nothing else can.

I love to sing and I spend a lot of my free time drawing and painting. Recently I've gotten into photography, which is a really fun way to document my travels. I love science (especially astronomy and chemistry) and am fascinated by the human psyche, which is why I'm studying sociology at university.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be happy in whatever I may pursue and no matter where I may find myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

First and foremost, I participate by being a respectful surfer! I don't really view CouchSurfing as a free place to stay, but rather as a unique opportunity to meet like-minded & fun people on my adventures. When I'm somewhere new I prefer to have locals show me around because I get so much more out of traveling that way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only had two CouchSurfing experiences thus far, both in New York City. I stayed with the same hosts both times because we got along so well. They showed me a great time in New York which eventually led to me moving there for a year. Still friends with them today. I haven't had the chance to host anyone yet but I hope to pay it forward soon.

Interests

I have many:

reading, music, singing, camping, yoga, running, thrifting, farmer's markets, nature, sewing, guitar, ukelele, food/cooking, space, science, astrology, flim/cinema, wine, poetry, biking

Share: would be great if we could make some music together/collaborate artistically, or just share good experiences and laughs!
