About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See new sights, meet new people, do new things. Experience the landmass of north america

ABOUT ME

I wonder when I'll see him again...

PHILOSOPHY

Universe looking at itself. (in all different shapes and sizes of glasses-even the godawful ones where the frames are in the shape of numbers or objects) And maybe, probably, this is wrong or oversimplified. No, not maybe, definitely.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I had a house the couch was always open. Now I have no couch nor residency so I am wandering and exploring and telling stories and always trying to be the best guest possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with a guy in denver where I saw one of the coolest (read: one of the only) slam poetry events in my life via a total coincidence of being at the right coffee shop at the right time. Stayed on couches and floors and ditches and highways and under bridges across most the country.

Interests

Adventures, outdoors or indoors. writing, art, talking, exploring abandoned buildings or towns, learning about cities and cultures. Photography

  • arts
  • writing
  • poetry
  • photography
  • coffee
  • shopping
  • outdoor activities
  • fishing
  • backpacking
  • camping

Music, Movies, and Books

All sorts. lots of, in fact too much contemporary american fiction David Foster Wallace, Vonnegut, Hunter Thompson, Fitzgerald, Robert Anton Wilson etc. Non-fiction and journalism too, whether scientific psychological, whatever seems like I will learn from, if I'm lazy will distract/content me.

music: folk-punk, 'indie', country/folk, general punk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode a freight train across the great salt lake.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know and think alot about seinfeld. On a more practical level I'm fairly adept at outdoor skills (camping, fishing, backpacking, etc.) Always willing to participate in conversation of any kind and help people out with whatever they need help with.
