CURRENT MISSION

I am hitchhiking through south/central america from Santiago to mexico, and then back down again (between June 2015 and Febrary 2016) with the intention to have fun and hopefully learn to speak spanish. I will not be staying in hotels/ hostels- when i'm not couchsurfing i'll be camping :)

ABOUT ME

I am a smiley, chilled out person. I love to learn new things and explore new places. I grew up in Perth, Western Australia and have spent a bit of time in Canada and USA. I've also travelled through Europe and Indonesia briefly. I am studying Psychology at an Australian university. I love cats, but i'm horribly allerrgic.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed for 6 or so weeks around western USA. I enjoyed the experience thoroughly. I think its a great idea and i look forward to meeting some more awesome people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had amazing times couchsurfing! Met great people and did things that i just couldn't do any other way. I have been a host in Australia and can't wait to do it again.

Interesses

anything to do with nature, learning new languages (currently spanish), live music, swimming, playing guitar. I also love sailing.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

My favourite movies are Inception and Incendies. My favourite musicians are Bob Dylan and The Beatles. I like accoustic stuff the best. I'm not a heavy reader, but I like George Orwells books.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

I sailed from Port Lincoln (South Australia) to Bay of Islands (New zealand) on a 40 foot sailboat with two other females. The trip took 6 weeks in total, we were at sea for 22 days.

hiked up Mt Rinjani...the seccont tallest mountain in Indonesia. It took us three and a half days, one of the days we were hiking for 12 hours. The views were some of the most beautiful things i have seen. And we bathed in natural, untouched (by humans) hot springs.

I also jump freight trains :)

I have been playing accoustic guitar for a few years, and i like all things music. If you don't already know how, i can show you how to hitchhike!

I have been listening to a few spanish podcasts and am super keen to learn more about the language (i am a beginner though...so be patient with me!)
